The Application Process

Syndicate has reached its core membership goals and is striving to be one of the best guilds on Vortex. We want everyone to WANT to be in syndicate, but at the same time be selective as to who we allow in. If we allow just everyone into Syndicate, yes we will have numbers, but numbers are not everything. We are looking for members that are just like us, People that love to game and have a good time, but also have the same goals as we do. We need people that listen and can follow directions well and we also have certain class needs.

This page was created to explain the process of joining Syndicate. Who do I talk to? What do I expect to happen and when?

• The App (3-7 Days)
To apply to Syndicate, You must first Fill out our application found Here. Your application will be left in it's que for a few days. This is to allow time for Syndicate Members to vote on your app. If enough Yes votes are given, then your Application will be approved. Once your application is approved, you will receive and e-mail with your log in details.
• Trial Membership (2 – 4 Weeks)
Congratulations! You have been accepted as a Trial Member! What happens when you become a Trial Member is that we allow you in the guild and let you join us in everything that we do. This time is created to make sure that both sides mix well. Send a /tell to any Founder or Officer (listed at the bottom of the page) to be invited to the guild.
• The Vote
After 2 Weeks of Trial Membership, a thread will be started in a private member forum. This thread is only visible by Founders, Officers and Full Members. The reason we made this thread private is not because we want to keep you in the dark, but we want our members to be able to freely speak their mind about your app and if there are any issues. We want Syndicate to be truly a great guild so we don’t want any jerk's that would ruin Syndicate reputation. This thread will be left open for approximately 1 week. After 1 week, the votes will be counted and Full Membership will either be denied or approved.
